Executive Assistant Lisa Fecteau is in her 23rd year with the Hardwick
Police Department.  Since joining the Department in 1987, Ms. Fecteau has
been involved with several positive advancements within the agency.  When
Ms. Fecteau began her employment, all police reports were hand-written
and submitted to her.  She would re-type them on a triplicate form before
submitting them to the State for crime reporting purposes. Until 2000, all
license and vehicle checks required a telephone call from Ms. Fecteau to
the State of Vermont. In the last decade, advances in technology have
created a more efficient computerized system to input and retrieve data.

Lisa Fecteau is the Dispatcher, Technical Liaison and Technical
Assistance Coordinator responsible for ensuring that all police department
data and records are properly documented and entered into the State of
Vermont’s Spillman’s system.  Spillman is a high speed records
management system that enables police agencies statewide to share
investigative information.

A native of Hardwick, Ms. Fecteau graduated Hazen Union High School in
1985 and currently resides in Wolcott with her husband Andy and their two
children.
